One thing that strikes about this film is that never has any film made the banking industry seem so much similar to an espionage film. The plot of the film happens to be the weakest link with absolutely no substance in it. The story of the film is about an Interpol agent named Louis who is investigating into the affairs of a certain IBBC, which lends money to people without even doing a background check on them. Clive Owen plays the trigger happy Louis, who is shown shooting guns for most of the duration of the film. Naomi Watts who is there in the film in the role of a New York investigator joins Owen in his exploits. There are a lot of bullets flying around throughout the film, and at the end of the film it turns out to be a complete mess. The director Tom Tykwer should however be appreciated for making the nbanking industry look so different.
