Taken is an action film that has Liam Neeson playing the role of an operative with CIA. He plays the role of Bryan who has long retired from CIA, but has no family with him, as his wife had already left him and was married to another guy, and he has very less interactions with his daughter who treats him like a stranger. In order to break the ice with his daughter Leeson allows her to go on a trip with other friends to France, where they are kidnapped and sold away by sex traders. What begins then is a through and through thriller with Bryan going to France in order to find and bring his daughter back. He is helped in his quest by his sources in the French police. The film is an absolute delight for action movie lovers, and is finely paced. Leeson acts well as the middle aged father trying to bring back his daughter in this movie.

This movie adds to the list of bad films that have been released this year. There is hardly any material in the film, which could help it in being termed as watchable. The main character in this film is played by Kevin James who plays Paul Blart. The actual plot in the movie is how Blart, a cop at the mall helps in thwarting the plans of a gang of hoodlums, who are creating havoc in it. What follows is a spin off of the popular Home Alone series, with Paul Blart using the very things in the mall to try beat the people trying to take over the mall. There is nothing much in the story and neither the script that could help the cause of the film. This Steve Carr directed movie is sure to join the list of many other films that have come and gone from the movie halls as fast as they came.

This movie has been creating all the hype this year right from the time it was released. The film has an interesting script that is sure to captivate audience right from the start till the end. The story is about a young boy from the slums of Mumbai, who makes it big by winning a quiz show. The amazing direction of Danny Boyle, couple with the amazing music by A.R Rehman are the highlights of this film. All the actors in the film have done a commendable job, and this includes the child actors who played the roles of the protagonist and other supporting characters in the film. The amazing incidents that take place in the life of the protagonist are actually shown to be the reasons for which he is able to answer all the questions that come his way in the quiz show. With its success in the Oscars this film has definitely proved its mettle and is enjoying amazing response from audience around the world.
