Jim Carrey is synonymous with comedy, and any movie that features the actor is expected to be a laugh riot. The actor plays the role of Carl, who works as a bank loan agent. He is shown to be so broken down with his divorce that happened three years ago, that he hardly meets people and prefers staying at home by himself. Life however changes once he joins a self help program where he is instructed to repeat to every question with yes. A series of events are chained off as soon as he starts following this advice, and soon gets introduced to Allison, a character played by Zooey Deschanel. Love blossoms between the two and Carl faces one funny situation after the other, saying ‘yes’ to everything and everyone. At times the comedy gets a bit too boring, but overall the movie is fun to watch, and the film Peyton Reed will definitely face the disapproval from the audience.
