Directed by Howard Deutsch, My Best Friend’s Girl stars the likes of Kate Hudson, Dane Cook and Alec Badwin. In spite of these actors being in the film, it is not able to create much of a connection with the audience coming to watch it. The story of the film revolves around the character Tank played by Dane Cook, who specializes in impressing women. Armed with this power, Tank helps a lot of people to win over the girl they love; but things take a change when his cousin also turns up to him for impressing a girl he likes. While trying to impress this woman played by Hudson, Tank actually falls in love with her, and this is where the trouble starts. There is nothing special about the storyline, and is perhaps the main reason it fails to impress much. The comedy in the movie is also not up to the mark, and the film is expected to do averagely at the box office.
