There are a lot of films that are made nowadays that come out with bad scripts and storyline in the name of comedy. Either the jokes that are there in these films are too vulgar or are too typecast; there is nothing exceptional about it. As a result the audiences nowadays do not like watching comedy films at movie halls since they think it is nothing but a complete waste of money. There have been a few exceptional films that had their own originality and were very much liked by the audience. Get Smart is one of these films that have their own originality and makes for an excellent entertainer. The film stars Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway in the roles of spies and it is really hilarious to see Carell play the role of a spy with absolutely no idea of what he is doing. The film makes for a fine way to spend some enjoyable time, and at the same time make sure that the money spent is not wasted.

There have been a lot of superhero films that have been released over the years, and most of them have been quite popular among the audiences. Hancock however deals with a different type of superhero, one who is not liked by the people, and who has troubles of his own. In order to clear up his image and to make him the best superhero in town he is helped by Jason Bateman, who plays the role of a PR consultant in the film. The storyline in the film is not that good, and there is hardly anything mention worthy about the film. Will Smith playing the main role of Hancock fails to do much in this movie that has nothing great about it. The movie is further crippled by the unimpressive action sequences and the special effects in it. Hancock could have been a good film, only if the makers had tried to put in a lot of hard work to it.

There have been so many thrillers that have been made by movie makers in Hollywood that audiences and critics seem to have lost count of them. Most of these films have been so popular that they are still watched by people as eagerly as they were watched years ago when they were released. However most of the thrillers that are released nowadays have failed to impress much and this can also be said about the Bryan Bertino directed ‘The Strangers’ that stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman in leading roles. The movie although is quite interesting at times, has been made uninteresting by stretching the main plot too long in the movie. The movie could have done much better had the story been made a bit more interesting than what it is originally. Having seen better thrillers in the past, it is quite obvious that audiences will be giving this film a miss.
