Directed by David Moreau and Xavier Palud, The Eye is a captivating thriller involving the strange encounters of Sydney Wells. It is remake of a Hong Kong-Thai-Singaporean film with same name, where the violinist is gifted the eyesight, only for a greater cause. The spirit of the cornea donor has a greater task for Sydney that she must understand and carry out.
Starring Jessica Alba as the Violinist, Sydney Wells, the movie closely revolves around the plot of the cornea transplant and strange occurrences after that. It might seem at times that, this portion seems familiar from before, although the story promises something different.
As far as the Box Office was concerned, the movie did gross its budget, but for the critics it seemed to be a little too shabby. The thrill in this thriller was not that overwhelming, even when it came to the suspense; the finishing to the movie was something that no one expected and it naturally had mixed reactions.

Never Back Down is a completely action packed movie, directed by Jeff Wadlow, where we are introduced to the sport of mixed martial arts. Jake Tyler moves into Orlando, Florida, leaving behind his popularity and embarking upon new surrounding.
Starring Sean Faris as Jake, the movie revolves around the humiliation he faces against the bully Ryan McDonald and retribution. He takes training from Jean Roqua, played by Djimon Honsou, who imparts his skills to the boy in his quest to avenge his humiliation. The movie ends in Jake’s victory and McDonald acknowledging him with a grin.
Not much hype at the Box Office and could be considered as any other teen movie. Teenagers are often pumped up by the brute and muscle, both of which are present in the movie. The reviews from the critics were not fairly complementing, but nevertheless, the movie has some awesome fight sequences, which combine martial arts and other forms of fighting.

The movie is a comedy directed by Nicholas Stoller, which portrays the heart broken composer, Peter Bretter, trying to forget his break-up with Sarah Marshall, his girlfriend of five years. There are few twists and romantic moments in the movie that audiences may find sweet, yet funny.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall stars Jason Segel as Peter and Kristen Bell as Sarah, along with other supporting actors, who play their role pretty well. Despite the wise idea of moving onto Hawaii, Peter finds himself in a hopeless situation only to find his ex-girlfriend visiting the same place with her new boyfriend.
The movie might not seem very appalling to many, but it did receive five nominations at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. A light hearted humor like this does find its place among the teenagers, who might have gone through such phases. They are content to come across a happy ending, where Sarah comes back to Peter, telling him how much she missed him.
