The fourth film of the franchise created by George Lucas, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is directed by Steven Spielberg. It continues with the adventures of Indiana Jones; this time against the Soviet agents led by Irina Spalko to attain the alien psychic crystal skull.

Including the protagonist Indian Jones played by Harrison Ford, who has played the character in the previous movies, the movie has other casts like Cate Blanchett, as Irina, along with Karen Allen, Jones’ lover and Shia LaBeouf, as their son. Supported by Jim Broadbent, John Hurt and Ray Winstone, the actors provided a powerful performance under Spielberg’s direction.

This highly anticipated movie of 2008 has already been acknowledged as the years biggest hit along with few others. Grossing over $786mn worldwide, it was the second biggest success at the Box Office in the year 2008. The reaction from the waiting fans was mixed, compared to the thumbs up from critics.
