    The Honk Kong film, directed by Siu-Tung Ching, tells the story of a princess taking over her father’s throne in the time of distress. The plot revolves around internal and external conflicts, through which the now Empress tries to find a way out.

    Yen Feier (Kelly Chen) seeks a way to save her country, left by her father under her command, and herself. In the process she has to decide between her lover, who saved her life, and her responsibility by the side of Muyong Xuehu (Donnie Yen), in protecting the nation.

    The movie was released in a selected few section across the globe, hindering its publicity. The costume design and war effects were quite detailed in the movie, taking the audiences back to the days where such epic battles were fought. For war lovers the movie would be a sure treat to the eye, including some soft moments between the raging battles.
